Kit Nicholls received a Ph.D. in English at New York University and a B.A. in creative writing at the University of Michigan. He studies and writes about Irish and Scottish nationalisms in the context of Atlantic history and economics. His other interests include the history, theory and literary representation of music, academic rhetoric, and postmodern American fiction.
