Cooper Union . . . . . New York, NY

Welcome to the website of the Cooper Union Ballroom Dance Club!

And welcome (back) to Cooper for FALL 2003!

Our first meeting/lesson will be:

Tuesday, Sept 23
12-1   OR   1-2
Room 343e

At this meeting, you can learn more about the club and about ballroom dancing in general. Also, the basics of the FOXTROT will be taught. The foxtrot is an elegant dance that was made particularly famous by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. It is one of the most popular dances, because it is flexible, easy to learn, and fun!

We usually meet on Tuesdays from 12-2, but the first meeting will only last one hour. The same thing will be taught at 12, and then again at 1, so you can come at whichever time is best for you.

The current president of the Ballroom Dance Club is Tom Pagaro, junior CE. If you have any questions, or if you want to be added to the club email list, you can email Tom at: TpAgS999@aol.com
