IIS web server interacting with MS SQL server, I use ADO components and COM components(most of them written in Java, a few in C++) in Active Server Pages to pull equity, trades, and real time market data/news to the application. Also use CDO to communicate with info stores in our Exchange Server to manage information between portfolio managers. Real time quotes are updated to MS SQL via a backend utility program interacting with Bridge stations. Real time news come from marketwatch.com news feed.

One of the core developers for the Intelisys Enterprise SolutionTM. Intelisys Enterprise SolutionTM is a purchasing solution for business to business procurement through the Internet. It offers complete administrative controls and automatic process and approval functionality. My responsibility include:

Interact with top management team to understand customer needs. Designing and reconfiguring the product according to such needs.
Project planning and scheduling; use my technical background to estimate project length and execute the plans efficiently within the set time frame.
Develop and maintain the General Ledger Manager applet, which maps the invoices generated from the purchase orders for accounting purposes. Using Microsoft J++ as my IDE, the General Ledger Manager UI is implemented as applet and dialog boxes with callback functions. Data access is through Active Data Object to MS SQL server. SQL programming on the server side (stored procedures and triggers) to enhance application performance.
Product integration management. Responsible for the integration of the final built product (Intelisys Enterprise Solution). Coordinating with Intelisys developers to meet with development deadlines, making sure all components synchronized.
Product integration. Writing a product integration procedure and use InstallShield to setup an automated installation process and system setup for the product. Using InstallScript to set register COM component in the window system and configuring system registries.
Active server pages development and maintenance. Implementing JavaScript functionality in ASP pages. Accessing data through Active Data Object to MS SQL server.
Created Perl scripts to parse the Java source code, creating the Java Archive files in ZIP, CAB, and JAR formats.

Managed and directed HTML editors and CGI programmers to complete project in a timely fashion.
Coordinate and interact with Sales and Marketing departments to roll out web promotion campaign projects.
Developed the automated on-line Cheyenne training registration process in Java. Written an SMTP mail class that opens a Socket stream back to our web server for Emailing purpose. Implementing interface class object that provide multiple inheritance to a class therefore allowing callback functions to invoked behavior in a peer object. Database design and implementation for this application (Oracle). Created GUI for this application. Experienced with Symantec GUI utilities. JDBC-ODBC connection to the Oracle database for application queries.
Database setup for web applications(Oracle)
Completed product registration application using CGI-Perl; users information was collected through interactive pages and passed into CGI programs. It was then inserted to Informix database through Informix ESQL/C SQL calls. The state of information of the users is maintained through the use of HTTP Cookie.
Completed search engine for Cheyenne resellers. Information can be easily retrieved from the database (Perl DBI) according to zip codes.
