Technical Assistant- Art and Architecture Shop

Description:

Part Time position, 18 hrs/wk

Dates: (Academic Year) September 6th, 2016 - May10th, 2017

Schedule: Monday and Tuesday 12:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Responsibilities:

*The Part-time Technical Assistant will assist, instruct, and advise students and institution members in the methods and materials of all phases of sculptural and architectural fabrication, including proper and safe use of tools and machinery pertaining to these applications

*To instruct and observe all health and safety regulations

*To aid in maintenance of the shop facility, including organization and machine upkeep and repair

*To receive and handle deliveries of materials pertaining to student/shop use inventory
