New things happening:
The telescope project has started.
There will be a total lunar eclipse on the evening of Wednesday, October 27th. For this we will meet on the Hewitt roof at 10 PM, to get a good view of it through the telescope.
Jim Abbott is going to give a talk about Einstein's relativity on Thursday, November 4th, at 5 PM in room 143E. The target audience is Sky & Eye but anyone from Cooper will be welcome.

Welcome, new people and returning members. This is where we post all the info about club events and what's happening in the sky. We've decided to have our weekly telescope observing meetings on Wednesday nights, at 9:00 PM. To find out all the gory details about these, look at the Events page. Our first one will be this week, September 29th. There will be snacks, so even if the w eather is bad, stop by! At this meeting we'll also decide our next planetarium trip.
For those of you who doubt that you can see anything from the middle of Manhattan, check out
last year's
observing log!
