exact dates and times or just email us!
This year's Freshmen Orientation will take place from Tuesday August 27 - Thursday August 29. There will be Hillel members available
during this time in case there are any questions. On Tuesday please join us in Peter Cooper park with your families from 12-2 for lunch. On Wednesday lunch will be served in the Engineering building and kosher food will be available. Thursday is the Circle line cruise where we will again be serving kosher snacks.
One of the first days of school Hillel will be having a Lunch with Rabbi Sarna, the Rabbi from the NYU Hillel. He will be talking about all the events and programs available through the NYU HIllel and we will be discussing all of our Cooper events. Come meet the people of Hillel and find out more about about all our events and best of all enjoy the free lunch!
The Fall Festival takes place in Cooper Park and it is your chance to sign up for whatever clubs you may be
interested in. Stop by the Hillel table and sign up, order some clothing and enjoy the free kosher pizza!
Hillel would like to wish everyone a sweet new year. In honor of Rosh Hashana we will be giving out apples dipped in Honey in the Lobby of the
Engineering building. Apples and Honey are a traditional food eaten on the Jewish New year to signify a sweet beginning to the year.
To celebrate the holiday of Succos, Hillel builds a Succah, a small hut, outside the Wollman Lounge. The succah is decorated and used for the week to eat in.
On one night of Succos we will be having a party in the Succah. There will be food, drinks and music. Join us in building, decorating and partying in
honor of the holiday.
Spend Shabbat with all your friends at Cooper Union! Join Hillel for Friday night and Saturday meals and services. Invite your Cooper and non Cooper
friends, everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Housing is available for anyone who needs it.
Come celebrate Hanukah with candle lighting, dreidels, music. Or just come for the Doughnuts! Check our our facebook page for Mystery Maccabbe.
Be part of the Hillel board. You can either run for a position or just vote. Food will be served and this is the opportunity to pick up any clothes
you ordered from the Hillel.
Come celebrate the birthday of the trees with music and food! Let them know how much you care and reminisce about your favorite tree stories.
