What prompted the switch to engineering?
"I liked working with students but it seemed like there was something missing. I wasn't being challednged the way that I wanted. I wasn't growing. I was dealing with the same things. I kinda knew what engineering was, then I did some research to really find out. I then went and took engineering classes at City College of San Francisco for three years."
What was it like coming back to NY where you started out?
I had been gone for 11 years and I'm glad to be back since most of my family is here. In California people are nice and its easy to meet them but it's a little superficial. Here in New York its harder to make friends but once you do they are friends for life."
What's next after Cooper?
"I'll probably continue on with my Masters at Cooper. I work now for a municipality out in Long Island. I like it because I'm still of service to the people."
What's your dream job?
(chuckles) "Oh, I don't know."
