Welcome to Tau Beta Pi at The Cooper Union
Tau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession. It recognizes students of distinguished scholarship and exemplary character. The association also aims to promote professional development and encourage community service.
Since 1990, Tau Beta Pi sponsored a tutoring program in Cooper Union. The tutoring has traditionally been held during the thursday clubs hours every week. However, due to lack of advertising, not many engineering students enlisted the help of these volunteered tutors. This year, we seek to publicize more by enlisting professor's help to introduce us in his/her class. Also, a more aggressive poster advertisement is employed. Furthermore, an electronic tutor request form might be implemented this year, if need be.
