The Cooper Union provides us with an array of tools, workspaces, and experienced faculty allowing us to create a competitive Formula SAE car.

The Dean's Office and the Vice President's office offer exceptional support and enthusiam for this project.

The Mechanical Engineering Department not only provides us with agreat education and unparalleled financial support, it also offers us experienced faculty, such as our Faculty Advisor George Delagrammatikas, Engines Lab Technician John Torres, and Machine Shop Technician Mike Eilenfeldt. The Mechanical Engineering Department provides us with workspaces such as the Thermodynamics Lab, Engines Lab, and the Mechanical Modelling Studio, which is where we do most of our work.

The Formula SAE team would not be possible without the exceptional Cooper Union curriculum. Likewise, the Cooper Union curriculum benefits from the Formula SAE program. Cooper Union students discover the value in the Formula SAE program, where the theory they learn in the classroom is applied to a real engineering problem. Involvement of Cooper students on the Formula SAE Team begins in their first freshman semester and continues throughout their entire Cooper career.

Family members of Cooper Union students are also very supportive. The Yamin Family and Leslie Henry offered their homes for the competition last year. Darren Cole-Henry helped us acquire necessary tools to complete and race our car. David Cole acted as a chaperone during the 2007 competition and compiled a video of the event.

Consolidated Edison Company of New York (Con Edison), a regulated utility, provides electric service in New York City, and most of Westchester County. It provides natural gas service in Manhattan, the Bronx, and parts of Queens and Westchester.

Con Ed has greatly exceeded their promise of matching the monetary donation of one of their employees, Mary Lynch. Additionally, they have generously offered their expert machining services, an invaluable resource to the team. These services included providing the materials, a CNC Lathe, and a Water Jet cutter.

American Industrial Supply Corporation (AIS) is a distributor of pipe, valves and fittings. The company is located in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and services the Northeast region. AIS supplies the following market segments: chemical, pulp and paper, petro-chemical, utility, energy, construction, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and pharmaceutical.
