Writing Associate and Adjunct Instructor
Lepri's poetry, essays, and translations from Spanish have appeared in various national and international journals including 6x6, Aufgabe, Boston Review, Best New Poets, Chicago Review, Conjunctions, Lana Turner, Mandorla, Shearsman and online at Poetry Daily. She is the author of Fig. I (Horse Less Press, 2012) and Incidents of Scattering (Noemi, 2013). She teaches writing at Queens College and Bard's Language & Thinking Program. Her writing interests include documentary poetics, misrecognition, and magic. She is currently working on a poetry collection dealing with wood, the history of violins, immigration, gendered sound, and colonial desire.
Education: B.A., Harvard University; M.Ed., University of Massachusetts; M.F.A. in Literary Arts/Poetry, Brown University, and Ph.D. in English at the Graduate Center-CUNY (in progress).
