ANDREW WEINSTEIN
Associate Professor

Andrew Weinstein earned degrees at Brown (B.A.), the University of Pennsylvania (M.A. in art history), and New York University (M.A. in creative writing). His Ph.D. dissertation on contemporary representations of the Holocaust in American art will be awarded by the Institute of Fine Arts, N.Y.U in May. He has taught art history at the Fashion Institute of Technology (S.U.N.Y.) and English at N.Y.U. and the Borough of Manhattan Community College. He has contributed art-historical essays to anthologies published by Humanity Books, Oxford, Rutgers and Syracuse and his criticism and fiction have appeared in American Book Review, Bloomsbury Review, Boulevard, Philadelphia Inquirer, Studies in Short Fiction, zingmagazine and other publications.
