Deborah Waxenberg received her Ph.D. from the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology of the City University of New York in 1987 and a certificate from the Post doctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New York University in 1998. She is an Adjunct Clinical Supervisor in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Programs of C.U.N.Y. and Yeshiva University and in the Psychology Internship Program at Beth Israel Medical Center. She has taught theory at the American Institute for Psychoanalysis of the Karen Horney Center.
