Brian Swann was educated at Queens' College, Cambridge (B.A., M.A.) and Princeton (Ph.D.). He is author of a number of books of poetry, fiction, children's books and poetry in translation. He has published in hundreds of journals from The New Yorker and Paris Review to Partisan Review and New Republic, and has also edited books and journals and published many essays.
