Sandra Sider holds a Ph.D. in comparative literature, specializing in Renaissance studies, as well as an M.A. in art history. She has published several books, including the Handbook to Life in Renaissance Europe (2005), and articles pertaining to Renaissance visual culture. She is also a fiber artist and critic, with numerous publications in art journals and in Artcritical.com.
