ROBERT RICHARDSON Robert Richardson is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Philosophy at the Pennsylvania State University. His primary research concerns the nature of intentionality and meaning. He is interested particularly in what the relation between formal and natural languages with regard to meaning can reveal about the nature of intentionality. These interests orient his teaching, which includes the philosophy of language, the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of mathematics, and the philosophy of logic, as well as epistemology and metaphysics more generally. These interests combine as well with his interest in the history of philosophy, especially as it bears on the primary topics of his research. | BACK | |
