Kit Nicholls earned his B.A. at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is currently completing a dissertation at New York University on representations of Irish identity in song collections, novels, and periodicals in an Atlantic context. His other research interests include the philosophy of sound and postcolonial and post-Marxist theories.
