Policy On Emergency Closing Due To Inclement Weather

Either the entire institution will be closed or the entire institution will remain open.

A mere inconvenience will not be sufficient reason for closing. A shutdown will be ordered only when it is evident that most of the students, faculty, and staff literally will be unable to get to The Cooper Union.

If the decision of close is made in the evening or during the holiday or a weekend, public announcement will be made on the following radio stations:
