Part-time Film/Video Technician (two positions available)
The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art seeks a Part-Time Film/Video Technican.

Duties Include:
• Assist students and faculty with the equipment and facilities
• Check in/out equipment to students and instruct them in its proper use
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and inventory for all equipments
• Maintain the labs and classrooms as a clean and safe operating environment
• Carry out miscellaneous tasks as requested by the Supervisor or Senior Technical Assistant

Technician / Part-time
The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art seeks a part-time Technician who will provide technical support to students and faculty. Responsibilities include daily maintenance and repair of equipment within a large well-kept facility. Applicants must like to work with students and other technicians and be handy at repairing a wide variety of things.

Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Photoshop
• Experience with traditional as well as digital photo processing
• BFA in photography or equivalent experience required

Facilities Engineer
The Cooper Union is seeking a candidate who will be responsible for operating and maintaining Cooper Union's HVAC, life safety and mechanical systems in a safe and efficient manner. The duties of this position will include but not limited to the following: operating and maintaining central heating and air-conditioning plants, performing preventative maintenance on pumps, cooling towers, chilled water air handlers, fan coil units, dX units and boilers. Answer hot/cold calls. Perform reactive and emergency repairs as needed.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 7-10 years experience operating and maintaining large—1000 ton plus—mission critical a/c plants
• Building Management System experience a must (preferably Siemens Apogee)
• Excellent trouble shooting skills a must
• NYC Refrigeration Engineers License
• Universal CFC Certificate

Maintenance
The Cooper Union is seeking a candidate who will be responsible for keeping The Cooper Union properties clean at all times. The candidate will remove and set-up furniture when necessary and assist Maintenance Mechanic as directed.

Qualifications: Candidate should be able to perform most indoor and outdoor chores; be cooperative; have the ability to learn additional responsibilities and be willing to work overtime when required. Candidate with maintenance experience preferred.

Part-Time Staff Accountant (25 hours/week)
The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art seeks a Part-Time Staff Accountant to prepare and review of journal entries, g/l account analysis, reconciliations and schedules; assisting in preparation of monthly reporting schedules, a/p, cash disbursements and cash receipts processing review; preparation of work-papers for annual audit and 990 review by external auditors and assisting in special ad-hoc reporting and performing other duties as assigned.

BA/BS in Accounting preferred. 2+ years experience in accounting. Prior experience in not-for profit accounting a plus; Detail-oriented, able to multitask, self starter, and ability to meet deadlines; Strong organization, analytical, administrative, communications, interpersonal and follow-up skills. Ability to work well independently as well as within a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, accounting software packages.

Manager of Prospect Research and Donor Stewardship
The Cooper Union seeks a Manager of Prospect Research and Stewardship with 2-3 years development experience to conduct donor research and coordinate all prospect research and stewardship activities in a busy development office. Responsibilities include identification, profile development and tracking of prospective donors; analysis, interpretation and evaluation of information; and development of comprehensive written profiles.

Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts, the candidate will have experience with prospect research, Internet research, online and fundraising databases preferably in an academic environment. Excellent oral/written/interpersonal communication skills and advanced Word and Excel capabilities.
