Use
of the Collection
The
Collection is for the exclusive use of Cooper
Union faculty and students.
Slides
may be borrowed only by faculty members for classroom presentation. Students
may borrow slides only for required class presentations. There is
a $5.00 fine for each unreturned slide.
Films,
videotapes, laser disks and DVDs: 16mm films may be borrowed only
by Cooper Union instructors for class presentation with the assistance
of a qualified projectionist.
Circulating videotapes may be borrowed by Cooper Union and Consortium
patrons for 3 days.
All other materials may be borrowed for class presentation by Cooper Union
instructors. They may also be viewed by Cooper Union patrons on monitors
in the Cooper Union Library Reading Room and the Cooper Union Library
Visual Resources Collection.
Art
Gallery Exhibition Catalogs are found in the main stacks of the library
at the end of the Reference
section.
Maps
may be borrowed by faculty members and students with valid ID.
The Visual
Resources Collection also maintains a Picture File. Pictures may be borrowed
by faculty members and students with valid ID.
Blueprints
of the Foundation
Building renovation by John Hejduk, as well as other campus buildings,
are available for study by Cooper Union students. These materials are
room-use only.
