What is this Gateway thing?

This homepage is devoted to the NSF funded Gateway Engineering Coalition project. Our part of the project involves concurrent engineering. Cooper Union, along with the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Ohio State , and the University of Pennsylvania are supposed to be working concurrently on one project.

In this case, it is a mechanical feeding device for persons that only have head movement.

Last semester, we really did not do concurrent engineering, but rather each school designed their own device and then presented the designs at the last meeting.

The Cooper Scooper Design was chosen to be manufactured this semester and presently all the teams are refining different sections of the project, trying to incorporate the good ideas from each device them into one grand design.
