Mission Statement:
Cooper Union's Department of Chemical Engineering is committed to the development
and graduation of engineering professionals. The Department will promote student
learning and understanding of science and engineering fundamentals and guide
and encourage the application of this knowledge to the ethical, professional
practice of chemical engineering. This will be undertaken in an environment
that is responsive to new technologies and that encourages life-long learning
and research.
