Masters Degree Program in Chemical Engineering

In addition to advanced courses in chemical engineering and other areas, master's students must complete a thesis for the M.E. degree.

Thesis advisors may be chosen from the Department of Chemical Engineering or the Department of Chemistry.

The following is a list of theses completed by chemical engineering students in the academic year 2005-2006:

"An Initial Investigation of Bioreactor Performance in Batch and Continuous Operation" by Christopher Michael Geisner. Supervised by Professors Irv Brazinsky and Richard Stock.

"Integration of Provision-PRO/II Computer Simulation into Laboratory Experiments" by Jo S. Kang. Supervised by Professor Richard Stock.

"Separation of Hemoglobin-Albumin Mixture by Gradient Ionic Strength: Adsorption Isotherms" by Tammy Lo. Supervised by Professor Zikri Ahmed.

"Separation of Hemoglobin-Albumin Mixture: A Simple Equilibrium Model for Scaling-Up" by Elaine Lo. Supervised by Professor Zikri Ahmed.

"Analysis of a Three Phase Dewatering Process Algorithm" by Daniel To. Supervised by Professors Irv Brazinsky and Richard Stock
