While providing a permanent legacy for the donor, naming the new academic building or a portion of it is also enormously enabling for Cooper Union. It benefits the institution greatly to be associated with the deep commitment of thoughtful philanthropists.

The Cooper Union will express its gratitude for contributions to the new academic building fund by listing major donors on a recognition wall to be installed in the main lobby. Additionally, donors of leadership gifts will be offered the opportunity to name spaces in the building subject to approval of the Development Committee of the Board of Trustees.
