The Cooper Union was founded by Peter Cooper, an unusually gifted and successful inventor. We have a long tradition of technically advanced, hands-on innovation and continue to refine our culture and work methods. We also have the right equipment and software to help us move fast, including CAD solid modeling software, Finite Element Analysis software, and SLA Rapid Prototyping equipment.
