FOREST WADE RAPID PROTOTYPING LABORATORY
A state-of-the-art facility capable of supporting product development and general computer-aided engineering. It houses a Brideport Interact 412 Milling Machine, a tabletop LightMachine turning center, a Max/NC Milling Machine, a Morgan plastic injection molding machine, a 3-D Systems’ Actua 2100 rapid prototyping station, a Cyberware 3-D scanner, a Microscribe 3-D digitizer, and a network of engineering graphics workstations supporting a suite of engineering design, analysis, and manufacturing software tools: CATIA, ADAMS, Cosmos, MasterCAM, ProCAST, SolidWorks, and SensAble Tech. FreeForm interactive sculpting system.

MATERIALS ENGINEERING LABORATORY
Material science facility supports a wide gamit of material testing instruments which include: Instron Universal Testing Machine (Model#5500 series with enviromental chamber), Leco M-400-G Hardness tester, Wilson Rockwell Hardness Tester , Olympus Optical microscopes, Charpy impact instrument, Autoclave, Environmental chambers, Furnaces, Four-point bending apparatus and Grinder/Polishers.

BROOKS ENGINEERING DESIGN CENTER
This 3,000 sq. ft. center is an industrial-strength facility making available the tools, information and services that students and faculty engaged in design projects or design research require at the point of need. Interdisciplinary in character, the center was conceived to create a synergy of powerful computers, good software and people.

ENGINEERING MACHINE SHOP
Professional machine shop equipped with two-high end lathes, traditional and CNC milling machines, and many other metal working and finishing instruments.
