Supply List:
For the first class:
- Lightweight paper — office paper is OK
- Scissors
- Pens/Pencils
- Textbook: How To Make Books (can be purchased from author/professor)
For subsequent classes:
- assorted paper: text weight, cover weight, decorative paper
- Bone folder
- Sharp scissors
- Glue sticks, double sided tape, transfer tape
- Exacto knife, blades, cutting mat (optional)
- Awl (long thin point — etching needle, potter's needle OK)
- Needles — large eye (big enough for the linen thread) dulled point
- Curved needle
- Linen thread - medium weight
- Leather (optional for longstitch class, can be leather clothing to recycle)
- Longstitch box book - box: 8.5 x 5.5 or larger x approximately 1"
- Graph paper
- 8.5 x 11 paper
According to preference:
- pencils, sharpener
- pens (no sharpies)
- color pencils
- collage materials, buttons, beads
- rubberstamps and stamp pads
- book to alter (independent project)
Other materials assigned as needed.
