About the Summer Residency Program
The Summer Residency Program is designed for emerging and mid-career artists working in painting and drawing to pursue their ongoing work over four weeks in an intensive, non-credit, residency program in New York City. Participants work in semi-private, spacious, luminous studios (200-400 square feet) with skylights and enjoy expert technical support. The 2005 Summer Residency visiting guests include artists Will Cotton, Matvey Levenstein, Margot McLean, Steve Mumford, Peter Schjeldahl, and Jerry Saltz, gallerist Zach Feuer, and renowned scholar James Hillman.
