Jenny Marketou’s installation allows viewers to interact via touch screen with a large database of video, sound, and text which addresses sexuality and gender through literary and historical references to robotics and sculpture. The viewer’s role in the shaping of the database is underlined by the incorporation of live video of the viewer into the piece; both database and live imagery are projected onto the architecture of the surrounding space.
