  About the work

My artwork explores the culture of work, focusing on how gender and cultural differences are encoded in new communication technologies. In particular, these installations point to the expressions of office hierarchies within office furniture design, office spatial planning, and emerging communications technologies in the workplace. The installation design is generated from numerous interviews with office workers, office design and space planning literature, online inquiries, and my own office work experiences.”M.B.
