Pam Lins refers to her work primarily as sculpture. Through it she contemplates the social and psychological with regard to material, process and approach. In addition to sculpture, her range of adoptive methods includes painting, gardening and fiction writing. Lins' work has been shown in Europe, Canada and the US. In New York her work has been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, White Columns, Artists Space, Momenta Art, Art in General, Sculpture Center and Socrates Sculpture Park.

Lins has taught 3D Design, Sculpture and Drawing at the Cooper Union School of Art. She has also taught at Princeton, the Fashion Institute of Technology and numerous other institutions. Lins is currently an Artist in Residence in the Downtown Studio Program, a division of the New School University. She received her BA in Photography from the University of Minnesota and earned her MFA at Hunter College.
