Chris Dixon is currently the art director at New York magazine, where he has been for 2 years. Before this, he worked from his own design studio on projects for clients such as; Lan Airlines in Chile, the United Nations, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, and The Financial Times of London. From 1997-2001 he was the Art Director of the award winning Adbusters magazine, and following that spent two years as a designer at the New York Times Magazine. From 2002-2004 he served on the board of the New York Chapter of the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts). His work has been featured in numerous publications including Emigre and Eye, and in the 2003 Phaidon book "Area," an international review of Graphic Design.
