Registration Instructions Fall 2008 Registration cards will be approved by the Office of Academic Advisement of the School of Art according to the following schedule:
Please note that all course enrollment is by appointment, at times determined by lottery. Make certain that you have obtained an appointment from the Office of Academic Advisement. Students without appointments will enroll at the end of the appropriate day. Students who do not have their registration cards approved on the appropriate date may have their cards approved through Friday, April 18, but risk being closed out of classes. Course enrollment will take place in Room 212F. STUDENTS WHO ALTER THEIR CARDS AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN SIGNED WILL HAVE THEIR ENTIRE REGISTRATIONS CANCELLED. REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL THE APPROVED CARD IS RECEIVED BY THE OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS (3rd Floor, 30 Cooper Square). EACH STUDENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERING HIS/HER APPROVED CARD TO THE OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS BETWEEN APRIL 15 AND APRIL 18, 2008. (Your randomly assigned registration number can be found on the card in your mailbox. Please refer to the registration instructions posted on the Cooper Union website to find the dates and times that apply to you according to that number.) Students who do not have their registration cards approved by Friday, April 18 and submitted to the Office of Admissions and Records by that date must register on the first day of classes, Tuesday, September 2, 2008. A late registration fee of $100.00 will be charged by the Registrar at that time. SCHEDULE CHANGES In certain circumstances, program changes (Add/Drops) may be subject to a fee. Please consult the registration information from the Office of Admissions and Records on this subject. Students should therefore choose their classes carefully. Please consult the Office of Academic Advisement no later than Wednesday, April 9 to address any questions about your program of study and to avoid any misunderstanding of the published requirements of The Cooper Union. FALL 2008 START OF CLASSES FALL 2008 CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2008. PLEASE NOTE THAT A MONDAY CLASS SCHEDULE WILL BE FOLLOWED THAT DAY. |
