Freedom from Oil delivers a fast-paced narrative of debates at the highest levels of government. Sandalow is an energy and environment scholar at the Brookings Institution and has served as assistant secretary of state for oceans, environment and science. He was associate director for global environment of the White House Council on Environmental Quality. He will speak about his latest publication, The End of Oil.
