Cooper Union's Community Outreach programs uphold a tradition of community responsiveness and social advancement that is at the foundation of the College's history and an integral aspect of its life today.

Adult Outreach

A number of outreach programs provide access and opportunities to underserved populations of students and adults, helping them to enhance their skills and gain a competitive edge. The Immigrant Engineering Retraining Program, administered by the Albert Nerken School of Engineering, offers courses that help immigrant engineers acclimate and apply their engineering training to Western standards.
