COOPER UNION FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT The following is the "Project Summary" from the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) filed on August 22, 2002 with the City Planning Commission. It describes, in brief, the components of the modernization and development plans that Cooper Union is proposing to undertake. The revisions made to the plans are highlighted in the text with an underline. The floor plans of the two proposed buildings and a rendering of the overall project are included for illustrative purposes. These are not final designs, but building envelopes and guidelines for the project as it moves forward.
