Emergency Information

In New York City, you can summon emergency help by dialing 911. When you call for emergency help, tell the dispatcher:

1. Where the emergency is, with cross streets if possible
2. The telephone number you are calling from
3. What happened
4. How many people need help
5. What is being done to help the victims

Stay on the telephone until the dispatcher hangs up.
