Dancing LegoBot
This robot was developed during part of the 2000 Capstone Senior Mechanical Design course at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. It was constructed from components in the Lego MindtormsTM kit. It centers itself within a white square on the lab floor and dances. Lego light sensors on the bottom allow it to detect the black borders and its shaft encoders allow it to measure its position. A series of motors control its body to allow it to swing its arms and to do "twists". It is controlled by the Lego RCX controller.
